My name is Suzanne Comeau.
I create and handcraft 925 sterling silver jewelry in my workshop in Mont Saint-Hilaire, Québec. My designs are made one at a time and finished by hand. Each piece of jewelry is as unique as you are.
My workshop is open during Richelieu Arts Route events and by appointment.

Artistic approach
What an amazing metal that is sterling silver.
Despite all the respect it commands, this fine metal willingly agrees to lend itself to my creative hands to be metamorphosed into earrings and other contemporary style 925 silver jewelry. My initiation to the art of metals occurred in 2013 when I was participating in a weekend workshop. Subsequently, I would continue my learning in a self-taught way.
My inspiration comes from the generosity of the raw material that I have chosen. Sterling silver can be manipulated in many ways in order to evolve the initial design into the finished product. Throughout the creation process I explore, I invent, I am astonished.
A jewel must please and evoke feelings. The use of circles is the basis of many of my creations; it is for me a symbol of family and unity. I like simple lines, fluidity and movement. I try to honor proportions seen in nature to offer harmonious jewelry.
The desire to create is necessary for my well-being. Every time I sit down at my work bench I try to surpass myself and make unexpected discoveries. My designs are unique and each piece has its own identity.
I make jewelry with the intention of bringing happiness. Quite simply and with humility.
