"Stormy Sky" Pendant - 925 Sterling silver and Picture Jasper

Beautiful oxidized 925 Sterling silver pendant featuring a large Picture Jasper.

Renowned in lithotherapy for its soothing properties, picture jasper is a natural stone that tempers excessive emotions. Its color and ripples, reminiscent of a landscape as far as the eye can see, help ease tensions. It also promotes artistic creativity.

In order to appreciate the beauty of this natural stone, I opted to set it with prongs and flat angled wire. The base of the pendant is very simple in shape, respecting that of the stone. Its pecked texture was produced in a rolling mill using sand paper. The patina gives the jewel its rustic appearance.

Its tubular bail can accommodate a leather cord or a chain measuring up to 3mm in diameter. See item COL02.
